We are seeking an exceptional Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in PET‑CT and SPECT‑CT to deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring an outstanding patient experience. The ideal candidate will provide a warm, accurate and responsive service to Auckland Radiology Group (ARG) patients, referrers, and funders, consistently upholding the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of PET and Nuclear Medicine diagnostic procedures to a professional and high clinical standard.
  • Acquire high‑quality data using SPECT and PET‑CT systems, ensuring appropriate examinations for clinical indications, effective use of departmental resources, accurate data processing, and precise image labelling.
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and compassionate patient care, ensuring clear communication with patients, support persons, wards, and other clinical teams throughout the imaging process.
  • Perform radiopharmaceutical and hot‑lab quality control procedures, including IV cannulation.
  • Provide support with CT diagnostic imaging as required.

About You – Qualifications & Requirements
  • A recognised tertiary diploma, degree, or graduate diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent)
  • Current NZ MRTB Registration with a valid Scope of Practice in Nuclear Medicine
  • Ideally holds a condition on the APC to perform Diagnostic CT, or willingness to complete supported training during employment
