About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator who will play a key role in delivering seamless scheduling, professional reception services, and an exceptional customer experience.

This branch is one of our busiest and biggest “high-tech” branches’, offering MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-ray medical imaging.  As a primary contact for our patients and referrers in the region, you will be expected to deliver a professional service with a strong focus on customer service and care.

We are looking for a smart-minded individual to work in front-line services that can sometimes be challenging. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position, Monday to Friday.
  
Ideal Skills and experience:
  • Radiology administration and/or medical scheduling experience preferred 
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Fantastic communication skills and sound judgement, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  
About You:
  • You will have excellent communication skills, and a professional phone manner with the ability to build empathy and rapport with patients and referrers quickly (referrers being medical specialists, GP’s, Physiotherapists etc).
  • You will be a team player with an engaging attitude and big smile
  • You will have a strong customer focus with both patients and referrers – knowing when to listen, asking the right questions and sourcing further insight when needed
  • You will have excellent computer literacy and be open to learning new systems
  • You will be detail oriented
  • You will be able to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • You will be coachable, and confident in asking questions when the need arises
