Automated Opt-in to TestSafe

TestSafe is a clinical information sharing service. If you would like to opt-in to our automated ‘Copy to TestSafe’ service all future imaging reports for all your patients will be sent directly to the Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand report archive. This results in improved outcomes for your patients, improving the quality and safety of healthcare by giving healthcare providers access to up-to-date information.

What you need to know

If you opt-in to automated ‘Copy to TestSafe’:

all reports for all your patients will go to TestSafe
individual patients can opt out by contacting TestSafe directly
you will need to advise your patients that a copy of their report will go to TestSafe.

Please note that if a patient chooses to prevent access to their information through TestSafe their treatment may be delayed while tests or scans are repeated.
