Andrew trained in Medicine at Auckland Medical School and also completed the 5 year Australasian Radiology training program through the Auckland scheme in 2005.  He became a fellow of the Royal Australian and NZ college of Radiologists in 2006. He completed postgraduate fellowship training in Neuroradiology through a combined Auckland City Hospital /Auckland Radiology Group fellowship in 2006 and a Vancouver General Hospital diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship 2007-2008. Andrew returned to NZ in mid 2008 to a staff position in the Auckland City Hospital Neuroradiology Department and became a partner at Auckland Radiology Group in 2009.  Andrew’s expertise is in Diagnostic Neuroradiology, including CT and MRI as well as percutaneous spinal procedures. Andrew is also a member of the 'Deep Brain Stimulation' group at Auckland City Hospital. He has published multiple articles in these areas and has also been invited to speak at international Radiology conferences. Andrew works each day at both Auckland Radiology Group and Auckland City hospital, with an active participation in Registrar training.
